Widely adaptable to any circumstance, Situational Leadership® prepares leaders to meet the moment-to-moment challenges pervasive in today’s work environments. In addition, online or paper-based assessments (LEAD Self and LEAD Other) provide participants with insights into their primary leadership behaviors and the range of styles they tend to act upon. EMPOWERING SITUATIONAL LEADERS™

Empowering Situational Leaders™ is a practice-rich workshop that empowers your leaders to challenge any preconceived notions that “power” connotes something negative and discover its practical application and significance in the influence process.
Participants explore the research that validates the relevance of power in the workplace and the connection between effective leadership and the key three power bases: Legitimate, Referent and Expert power. A comprehensive video-based case study provides the context for interactive skill building and peer coaching activities designed to help participants build and leverage their own power bases and become more effective leaders. |
Power: A Positive Driver of Influence

The Empowering Situational Leaders™ program demonstrates the interconnected nature of leadership and power and is designed for participants at any organizational level. This program directly supports the use of the Situational Leadership® Model by providing tangible rationale for how power bases impact the effective or ineffective use of leadership styles. Managing Collaboration
Leading Teams: A Situational Approach equips managers of teams with the Situational Leadership®Model as a tool to promote cooperation and an understanding of the individual personalities, interpretations, opinions and skill levels within a team. Participants explore the differences between groups and teams and how to develop the influence skills and tactics to transform diverse groups of individuals into successful, high-functioning, cohesive units. Learners then practice applying a situational approach to leadership and focus on how to diagnose and address individual exceptions to a team’s performance level. Course Benefits
