What is the difference between management and leadership? Management is system based. It is what you do mostly from behind your desk. Leadership is behavioral based. It is what you do mostly away from your desk. Management is about mission, strategies, goals and results. Leadership is about vision, values, culture and behavior.

Performance Leadership is designed to help organizations leverage human performance and enhance their performance management with the Performance Leadership Process™. The process starts after goals have been set and prioritized, and incorporates the application of the Situational Leadership® model.
